7th and Last Visit

7th pic of moss

December 2, 2009
3:30 - 4:00
Temperature - 41F

I made my final visit today, nothing has changed to much from the past couple days. Everything seems dead and there is not color anywhere. The river is still cloudy and I saw no signs of ducks or deer. It was more interesting going before the fall when the leaves were still on and there was color and signs that things were actually alive.

Me

December 1, 2009
3:30-4
Temperature - 42F

Coldest day yet and everything seemed even more dead then the times before. The river was very cloudy and there was a couple ducks but that was about it. Not to much to talk about because there was not to much to see or hear. Me in a picture was the coolest thing to see that day.

Track

November 29, 2009
4:30 - 5:00
Temperature - 47 F

All the leaves are gone and everything seems dead. I didn't take a picture of my plants because there is nothing to take a picture of but dirt. The river is brown and seemed dark. There were a lot of deer tracks ever where. Although it seemed as if everything was dead and had left for the winter.

Deer in the middle of the pic

November 25, 2009
3:45 - 4:15
Temperature - 45 F

All the leaves were gone and it was pretty cold. I walked up on a 6 point buck as I came in and I got a picture of it standing on the rail road tracks as it ran away. There was also a tree that had fallen over the river and was creating a damn. There was a lot of tracks everywhere that showed a lot of life. So far the best visit that showed the most life.

Salmon swimming up stream

October 14, 2009
3:30 - 4:00
Temperature - 51 F

Warmest day yet that Iv been out there. Everything looked pretty green yet and the river was starting to clear up a little bit. There were about 5 - 6 salmon running up stream and there was a place under the bridge that the river was only inches deep that was cool to see them swim up because they were half out of the water and fighting the strong current. The best visit I have had so far.

2nd picture of the moss

October 4, 2009
2:45 - 3:30
Temperature - 60 F

Another cloudy day, not as bad as the last one and a little warmer. River was still cloudy from all the rain fall in the last week and everything was very wet. Did not see any birds or anything this time but there were a lot of deer tracks. River did not change much, still same depth. Nothing seems to have changed to much.

Moss that I will look at each time

September 9, 2009
4:00 - 4:30 PM
Temperature - 55 F

Cloudy day out, very cold, a little bit of rain and very windy. Pretty much no sunlight, river was very cloudy from the rain the night before that stirred up the water. Saw one turtle come off a log and into a creek leading into the river. The river is 3 - 4 deep in the place where my picture is. Saw 8 - 10 birds, looked like black birds. Everything seems pretty green and alive.
